The Singapore government actively supports SMEs and social service organisations investing in AI automation. Three schemes are available right now — covering up to 80% of your project costs, plus significant tax benefits on top.

The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) supports Singapore companies looking to upgrade, innovate, and grow. For AI automation projects, Stack AI's work maps directly to two qualifying categories: Process Redesign (reviewing and streamlining workflows, exploring technology to automate processes) and Automation (adoption of sophisticated software and integrated systems).
Administered by NCSS
Apply at: OurSG Grants portal
The Transformation Sustainability Scheme (TSS) — formerly the Tech-and-GO! scheme — provides funding specifically for social service agencies (SSAs) to strengthen organisational capabilities through technology and digitalisation. At up to 80% co-funding, it is one of the most generous government schemes available in Singapore for AI implementation.
Administered by IRAS
Claimed via annual corporate tax filing
The Enterprise Innovation Scheme (EIS) is a tax benefit — not a cash grant — introduced in Singapore Budget 2023. For every dollar your business spends on qualifying AI and innovation activities, you can claim a 400% tax deduction (instead of the standard 100%). This runs from Year of Assessment 2024 through 2028.
Qualifying expenditure includes AI automation projects, innovation-related activities, and technology implementation. Your accountant will claim this through your annual corporate tax filing.
If your business is not currently paying corporate tax (early-stage, pre-profit), you can elect to receive a 20% cash payout on qualifying expenditure instead of the tax deduction. This is capped at $10,000 per Year of Assessment — still real money back into your business.
Applying for a government grant adds paperwork. We reduce that burden — so your application is well-scoped, your documents are in order, and your project delivers the outcomes the grant requires.

Yes — they are complementary, not mutually exclusive. EDG reduces your upfront cost by covering up to 50% of project fees. EIS then gives you a 400% tax deduction on the amount you do pay out of pocket. Your accountant handles the EIS claim through your corporate tax filing. Stack AI handles the project. The two schemes work in parallel.
EnterpriseSG typically takes 8–12 weeks to process a complete application. This means you should not plan to start your project until after approval. The key rule: do not sign any contract with us, make any payment, or begin any work before your application is submitted. If you do, your project is considered to have "commenced" and will be ineligible for the grant.
TSS is exclusively for NCSS members and MSF-funded agencies — typically VWOs, social service organisations, charities, and IPCs in the social sector. It is not available to general SMEs. If you are unsure whether your organisation qualifies, the first step is to check your NCSS membership status and confirm you have a valid OHFSS assessment.
Yes. If your business is not currently paying corporate tax, you can elect to receive a 20% cash payout on qualifying expenditure instead of the tax deduction. This is capped at $10,000 per Year of Assessment. You apply for this through IRAS — speak with your accountant about the election process during tax filing.
No. Grant approval is assessed independently by EnterpriseSG or NCSS based on your project scope, your organisation's financial health, and the competency of the service provider. We cannot influence or guarantee their decisions. What we can do is help you scope your project correctly, provide the documentation the application needs, and deliver work that meets grant deliverables — which gives your application the best possible foundation.
As early as possible — ideally before you've made any decisions about your automation project. The EDG requires that no work has started and no contracts are signed before you apply. If you come to us after you've already begun, we may not be able to help you access the grant. Book a free 30-minute call first. We'll scope the project together, provide the quotation you need for your application, and then wait for approval before any work begins.
We provide the vendor quotation, project scope document, and supporting materials that your application requires. The actual application is submitted by your company through the Business Grants Portal (for EDG) or OurSG Grants portal (for TSS) — only you can apply on behalf of your own organisation. Third-party companies are not permitted to apply or manage grants on an applicant's behalf. We guide you through what's needed; you submit it.
